Two weeks ago, we posted pictures from Yale's Outdoor Box Lacrosse Tournament. The state-of-the-art facility is setup in Yale's Reese Stadium using portable box rinks. Watch the video (below).
Someone could easily make the case for actual indoor pads for the goalies. Nevertheless, Box-Out Lacrosse looks like a lot of fun. Boards and sun, can't lose.
The first ever Box-Out Lacrosse tournament was held at Yale University in late July. Using portable boards to create five separate box fields, teams of all age groups and skill levels from around Connecticut and beyond, came to Reese Stadium for the two day event.
