LOS ANGELES, Cali. (Mon., February 17, 2014)– The Lacrosse Network (TLN) is proud to announce their partnership with Total Lacrosse to provide top-level live MCLA games to fans of the sport this Spring. The premier lacrosse retailer will be the presenting sponsor of the Southwest Lacrosse Conference’s (SLC) Game of the Week airing live on The Lacrosse Network starting this weekend.  In addition to presenting the games on The Lacrosse Network, Total Lacrosse will host a series of weekly gear giveaways and contests, providing a unique and interactive experience for lacrosse fans all over the world.

“We are very excited to partner with Total Lacrosse to bring the best of the MCLA exclusively to our YouTube Channel,” said Lacrosse Network President Samir Chaudry. “With the SLC Game of the Week, Total Lacrosse is not only helping to grow the sport, but are also committing themselves to providing lacrosse fans with new and interactive ways of watching the game.”

The Southwest Lacrosse Conference is one of the premier divisions in the MCLA and its teams continue to find themselves in the final rounds of the MCLA tournament year-after-year. SLC president Matt Holman echoed the enthusiasm, “We couldn’t be happier with this exciting news. The Conference Tournament coverage is going to be a great lead in to the MCLA National Championships which the SLC is hosting! We thank Total Lacrosse for their vision and look forward to the season.”

The first chance to win for lacrosse fans will begin 24 hours before Saturday’s matchup between Chapman and Boston College. Total Lacrosse will post the link to the game on their facebook and ask fans to predict the score for a chance to win Free Platinum Membership to their shop and a $50 giftcard to Total Lacrosse. During the broadcast on Saturday, trivia questions will be posed to fans for a chance to win lacrosse equipment. Viewers will send their answers all season long to Total Lacrosse via twitter (@TotalLacrosse) using the hashtag #SLCGiveaway.

Total Lacrosse Senior Brand Manager Dave Chaney commented, “We couldn’t be more excited to partner with The Lacrosse Network to increase exposure for the ever-growing MCLA and particularly the highly competitive SLC Conference. The quality of play coming out of the MCLA is fantastic and it’s exciting to watch.  The SLC Game of the Week is great for everyone - it’s more live lacrosse for the viewers and highlights the talent of the teams. Throughout the entire season, we’ll be watching not only as fans, but also as host to a variety of great pregame and midgame social media contests – viewer participation is encouraged! The Lacrosse Network is led by a group of innovative and creative personnel, making them ideal partners as we continue to grow our brand and enhance the overall lacrosse experience.”

The action begins this weekend with the LAX Coaches vs Cancer Event live from Palm Desert, California. Stay tuned to The Lacrosse Network as well as Total Lacrosse on twitter (@TotalLacrosse) and Facebook for details and chances to win free gear all season long!
