Must Watch: Notre Dame's 4 Days in Colorado, 15 Minutes Behind the Scenes

"I'm Vic Lombardi. I'm the only alum not named Murphy here in the room."
Every single college in the world needs to jot down notes whilst watching 4 Days in Colorado. Every team, coach, parent, and student-athlete will learn something from Notre Dame. The program and school emphasize community, team-building, and personal gratification. Too many, and I stress, TOO MANY programs use student-athletes without equipping kids with skills and tools to excel after lacrosse.
Lacrosse alumni networks and interning opportunities need to be imperative and an integral part of the college experience. And, they need to be provided by the coaches and compliance personnel. Period. In the past, Notre Dame has gone above and beyond by scheduling trips to hubs like Chicago and NYC so student-athletes can interact with alumni and visit organizations.
I smiled ear-to-ear when the coaches discussed their lacrosse backgrounds. Gerry Byrne is a class act.
The video a tremendous piece with a lot of momentum and drive behind it that every lacrosse enthusiast will enjoy. The 15 minute video does a tremendous job presenting the variety of experiences Notre Dame student-athletes will have on the field and off during their four years within the program as they not only prepare for a National Championship run but also prepare for life after lacrosse.
See the full 15 minute feature covering our trip to Denver & Colorado Springs this past October during our Fall Break. Watch the team compete in our "Shamrock Series" Green Uniforms, meet with Alumni in Denver, hike "The Incline", compete and work with the Air Force team and visit a Children's Hospital. This video captures the essence and values of our program in action: Character, Culture & Community.
