In a match up pitting two of the top programs in college lacrosse against one another, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish lacrosse team hosted Penn State. In a defensive battle highlighted by excellent goal tending on both sides, the Nittany Lions pulled off the upset win by a score of 8-7.
