On June 8th, 2012, The Crease Monkeys attended the Berlin Lacrosse Open with a star-studded squad and a mission to help expand the sport of lacrosse internationally. The Crease Monkeys teamed up with Encore Brand to fundraise for the U19 German National team and to showcase the best talent the sport has to offer to the German people. For every I BALL BERLIN shirt bought at the tournament, Encore Brand donated 5 euros back to the U19 National Team.
The Crease Monkeys were undefeated champions and Encore Brand founder John Christmas won the tournament's MVP. More than anything, they got an unprecedented snapshot of the European lacrosse community and a chance to reach out to the youth participating abroad.
