The Sticks for Soldiers tournament ended up raising $64,000. They are currently accepting more donations through December 26th. The event hopes to raise $70,000 before the December 26th deadline.

It was a well-done event that not only raised a good deal of money, but served its purpose in awakening young-athletes to the sacrifices made by those not much older than themselves. If you can help the event by raising awareness, it would be greatly appreciated. Visit http://www.sticksforsoldiers.org/ to make a contribution.
