About WINNERS Lacrosse:
WINNERS Lacrosse introduces the game of lacrosse to underserved inner-city youth in Washington, DC. WINNERS Lacrosse combines the discipline and teamwork of the sport with mentoring to create academic opportunities for our players.
WINNERS Lacrosse year-round programs reach out to Washington's youth through a series of clinics, camps, and teams. Participants practice and develop skills both in lacrosse and personal discipline. Our team members compete in regional games and tournaments, shadow lacrosse playing students at local colleges, and attend summer camps throughout the East Coast. Further, we seek secondary school placement for graduating eighth graders so they can continue to play lacrosse and develop their academic potential through high school and into college.
