New CNN.com's World Producer is a Former Lacrosse Player from St. Albans... Amar Bakshi is the site's new World Producer. Based out of New York, Bakshi will work closely with Fareed Zakaria and his team as well as Time.com to build out CNN.com's digital foreign affairs coverage.

Lacrosse Tourney Boosts Economy... It also infused an estimated $1.2 million into the local economy, mostly through payments to hotels and restaurants, said county Commissioner Jack Mariano, who attended two days of the tournament.



Decision Day Nears for Funding of 5 Cal Sports... Save Cal Sports," a group spearheaded by baseball alums and designed to preserve all five programs, has gathered more than $15 million in pledges.
