Warrior to release new glove, see Team USA gear

Later this year Warrior will be releasing a new glove to the general public. But here's a sneak peek. The Warrior Wrath will be available for you to purchase this fall, but they are releasing images of the glove now, as Team USA will be putting on the gloves this summer at the 2010 World Lacrosse Championships in England.




The glove will hit stores this fall (not the Team USA version -- that's just for the World games) and you'll notice some changes from some of the gloves you might be wearing. Warrior made the glove with more of a tapered fit, which gives the glove a tighter fit to your hand. They've done this as more players are asking for better and tighter fitting gloves.

This is the first in a trend you'll see with Warrior gloves, as several of the new models of future gloves will follow this style and be built with a better fit.

The Team USA version of the glove was designed in conjunction With Team USA. The glove has a white leather palms, a cuff with a U.S. flag pattern, and the wrist has a tonal pattern of stripes with stars. The tonal pattern was created so you won't be able to see the pattern from afar, but you'll notice it from up close. Oh, and on the inside there is a liner with the presidential seal incorporated (see the shoulder pads below for a better view).

The biggest news of the day is obviously the new glove, but Warrior also released the images of the custom shoulder pads and arm guards for Team USA. Check out photos of the Team USA Warrior Hitman shoulder and elbow pads below, which feature a clean look with white as the dominant color, detailing of the stars and stripes, and gold trim,






The pad liner contains the presidential seal, with a lax twist:
