Video: Lap Dance During Boston Blazers Halftime Show Angers Fans

Boston Blazers scandalous halftime show has fans confused, concerned and upset . During a halftime show at TD Garden the Blazers mascot, Scorch, received what appeared to be multiple lap dances from the Boston Blazers dance team. The dancers were competing to see who could give Scorch the best lap dance. Parents immediately covered their kids eyes and left the arena in disgust.

Today, the team's President and GM Doug Reffue posted a statement apologizing for the sexy show on the team's Facebook page.

"The Boston Blazers halftime act for Saturday's game was clearly not executed according to plan. We are extremely disappointed with elements of the halftime show," he wrote. "We had intended to provide an entertaining and fun halftime environment for our fans and that is not what transpired. The Boston Blazers organization values our fans and have taken their feedback very seriously."

The Blazers are 2-0 and have a promising season ahead of them with a talented squad. However, this incident may curtail the level of excitement their fans bring to the game. To the 20 somethings in the crowd this probably isn't a big deal. It is presumed that the majority of season ticket holders are of an age in which they may find this type of action offensive.

"As season ticket holders, we also felt that the half time show was completely inappropriate for a family atmosphere,” one commenter added on Facebook. "Shame on you."
