“Working in close coordination with US Lacrosse, we selected various leagues across the country to participate in our pilot program now,” said Anthony D’Elia, president of Massive Creative, Inc. “US Lacrosse Playbook will launch nationally in 2010. It will be offered as a free service to all members of US Lacrosse.”
Lacrosse great, Gary Gait, a National Lacrosse Hall of Fame member and head coach of the Syracuse University women’s lacrosse team says, “This is going to be a great service for lacrosse coaches, players and clubs to use. US Lacrosse Playbook is a fantastic tool and will benefit all of its users. My favorite part is the ability to get local advertisers involved so that we can meet our fundraising goals.”
“This system is a kid-safe communications tool deployed through email,” said Sara Noon, US Lacrosse’s managing director of membership. “The entire product design is geared toward supporting US Lacrosse members and member groups. Emails are wrapped with instructional videos, calendar feature and live news feeds from Lacrosse Magazine Online and US Lacrosse that will enhance parents and players’ education and enjoyment of the sport.”
Retired professional lacrosse player, Kevin “Iron Man” Finneran (www.coachfinn.com) will promote the offering to the Florida and New Jersey regions. “I am excited to promote this service as I see it to be a great way to communicate efficiently and a fun way to work together as a team or club.”
This product offering was negotiated by Waterbucket Media. Waterbucket Media’s president, Jim Jennings, was the former National Lacrosse League (NLL) commissioner.
