Tampa Head Coach Rory Whipple presents the 2013 Tampa Cup to Michael Maltarp of HP Plant Black.
Over 250 high school players from around Tampa and West Florida attended the first annual Tampa Pre-Season “Kick-Off” held at the University of Tamp this weekend. With over 20 high school’s represented, the Black team from HP Plant defeated IMG in the championship game 13-11. Plant advanced to the championship round by beating the Timber Creek Jokers while IMG advanced by defeating Cardinal Mooney. Mooney went undefeated in Pool play. Plant Senior Brian McSweeney was named tournament MVP.
Plant uses heroic Brave heart to defeat Wharton in Pool Play to advance to Championship Round. Timber Creek Jokers won the Pool D championship for grades 2015/2016 by going undefeated in Pool play.
