CHAPEL HILL, N.C.--North Carolina and Ohio State will open fall ball play Sunday, October 9 at 12 noon in the Fall Ball Lacrosse Classic at Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Md. All proceeds from the game will go to the Michael R. Breschi Scholarship Fund at The Ohio State University.
The Michael R. Breschi Scholarship Fund was established in 2004 to honor the memory of the late Michael Breschi, the late son of UNC head coach Joe Breschi and his wife Julie. The scholarship funds a men's lacrosse scholarship at Ohio State where Breschi coached from 1997-2008. Breschi, a 1990 UNC alumnus, returned to Chapel Hill to coach his alma mater in 2008.
The Fall Ball Classic will be held Sunday, October 9 at 12 noon. All tickets are general admission and will cost $5. All proceeds go to the Breschi Scholarship Fund.

Game time is 12 noon.
