BROOKLYN, NY – Trilogy Lacrosse, known for its high quality instructional camps, clinics and summer club teams, has announced the addition of two summer tournaments, which will take place in New Jersey and Maryland in 2013. The inaugural year of the Trilogy Lacrosse Masters Tournament Series will feature the Masters at Rider University from June 22nd to June 23rd and The Baltimore Masters at the Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center in Parkton, MD from June 29th to June 30th. The Masters at Rider University will provide both youth and high school divisions for summer club teams and will use the Lawrenceville campus as a lodging and dining option for families and coaches attending the event. The Baltimore Masters will present an opportunity for youth players from across the country to compete for the championship in one of lacrosse’s top hotbeds, Baltimore, Maryland.
“Our Masters Tournament Series further demonstrates our commitment to excellence by combining the best aspects of competition, sportsmanship and community,” Trilogy Lacrosse CEO Ryan Boyle noted. “We aim to create a challenging environment that honors a deserving champion.”
In order to create the best possible experience, Trilogy’s Director of Clubs and Tournaments Jim Stagnitta will spearhead the Masters Tournament Series. Combining Stagnitta’s execution of successful events with the feedback generated from Trilogy Club Team families’ tournament experiences over the last 7 years, the Masters will foster a competitive atmosphere that is easily accessible and enjoyable for the entire family.
Each tournament will feature a two-day, championship format with five guaranteed games for every team. All fields will be at a single site with nearby parking both at Rider University and the Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center. Vendor villages and Trilogy raffles featuring Under Armour equipment, apparel and prizes will promote the sense of community and add to the excitement of the weekend. The Baltimore Masters’ proximity to the Charm City and nearby Hunt Valley makes it an ideal location for a weekend trip with accessible hotels, dining, shopping and sight seeing. At Rider University, on campus housing and dining is available to players and parents with two spots built in for team coaches.
