BOSTON (April 7, 2014)— Major League Lacrosse, the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, is proud to announce that Trilogy Lacrosse is now the Official Lacrosse Education Partner of the MLL.
“We are pleased to partner with Trilogy Lacrosse,” said MLL Commissioner David Gross. “Trilogy’s coaches have proven themselves to be some of the best players in the League on and off the field. This partnership is an important step in our collective efforts to grow the game.”
Trilogy provides lacrosse education to parents, players and coaches by focusing on Instruction, Competition and Exposure. By utilizing the appropriate balance of these core tenets in its clinics, camps, club teams and tournaments, Trilogy is able to help players take their game to the next level.
"Trilogy Lacrosse is extremely excited to transition our longstanding relationship with Major League Lacrosse into an official partnership,” said VP of Marketing and Boston Cannons defender Mitch Belisle. “Our 6 National Directors currently competing in the MLL utilize their training and game experiences to shape the Trilogy KYP Curriculum™ that helps players, parents and coaches across the country improve.
“As the official lacrosse education partner, we will provide even more instruction to MLL fans and unparalleled access to the games' top players with Events like our upcoming Player Clinics at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots."
Trilogy's National Directors are not only some of the best players in the world, but also some of the best coaches. They will provide five instructional segments on the League’s magazine show “Inside the MLL” featuring Matt Streibel, Mitch Belisle, Ryan Boyle, Brian Farrell and Chad Wiedmaier. Each MLL star will showcase his specific skill set by breaking down video segments from the 2013 season and providing drills to improve those facets of the game:
• Matt Striebel – Shooting
• Mitch Belisle – Defensive footwork
• Ryan Boyle – Feeding
• Brian Farrell – Transition
• Chad Wiedmaier – Checking
In addition to their educational work, the company will also offer the “Trilogy MLL Experience” at the MLL All Star Game in Boston and the MLL Championship Game in Atlanta. Registrants from select Trilogy Events will be provided with opportunities for special ticket prices, autograph sessions with Trilogy National Directors and more.
