Three MLL Stars Added to Fathead Lineup

Three MLL Stars Added to Fathead Lineup

Boston, MA (August 2, 2011) - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) announced today that three more lacrosse stars will be immortalized as Fatheads as part of an evolving partnership with the leading brand in officially licensed sports and entertainment wall graphics, Fathead LLC. Boston Cannons' attackman Matt Poskay, Hamilton Nationals' defenseman Brodie Merrill, and Denver Outlaws' attackman Brendan Mundorf will all be celebrated as life-size wall graphics.

Brodie Merrill was elated upon hearing the news that he would become a Fathead, such a high honor for a professional athlete. "It is really neat for me to be selected as one of the Fathead representatives for MLL," Merrill said. "Growing up a big sports fan, my room was covered with my favorite athletes like Clyde Drexler and Patrick Roy, so having a Fathead of my own is a little surreal. I think it is great for lacrosse to be associated with a company so well recognized in the mainstream sports industry."

Boston Cannons' attackman Matt Poskay was also excited upon learning he would be an addition to the MLL Fathead lineup. "It's a great honor to be one of the few MLL athletes to be selected as a Fathead," Poskay said. "The sport of lacrosse is growing, evidenced by MLL's partnership with Fathead, and it's such a thrill to know that a rising lacrosse star might have my image on his or her wall. It's an honor."

Denver Outlaws attackaman Brendan Mundorf was surprised and excited to hear the news. "I have to say that having my own Fathead is awesome," Mundorf said. "It's humbling to be in the company of the great athletes who also have Fatheads. The fact that MLL and Fathead have teamed up is great for the growth of lacrosse and I'm proud to be a part of it."

Fathead LLC became an MLL licensee last year when they signed a multi-year agreement to produce MLL player and Team wall graphics. Boston Cannons’ midfielder and lacrosse sensation Paul Rabil was the inaugural MLL athlete to be commemorated as a Fathead in December of 2010.

@ guest, its because they have to fit it all on one sticker sheet somehow, you line up the “broken” part with the handle whence you place it on the wall.
