Quincy, MA (June 17, 2014) – TheLocker, lacrosse’s first social media community and e-commerce platform is facing-off with FOGOLax Academy to find the nation’s top FOGO.
Starting now and running through the club season ending August 1st, TheLocker members ages 13-18 have the unique opportunity to win a visit from FOGOLax Academy, the sport’s premier specialty instruction school and to win the title of nation’s best FOGO. Eligible Locker member club players are encouraged to upload face-off statistics to their Locker profiles and the member with the top face-off win percentage will receive a free visit and one-on-one training from FOGOLax Academy in addition to winning FOGOLax Academy Founder, Matt Schomburg’s signature head. All participants in the national FOGO competition will have statistics reviewed and verified by their respective club coaches to preserve the integrity of this essential group of specialists who “control the game.”
“The sport of lacrosse is often won or lost inside the face-off circle and we want to reward the nation’s top FOGO specialist with individual training from the best coach in the business,” said TheLocker Founder, Sean Morris.
Since 2005, FOGOLax Academy has been teaching the proper method of facing-off to some of the world’s best players. FOGOLax Academy will travel to the winning player’s hometown for individual training and signing up for the national competition is free and accessible on TheLocker’s homepage for members.
