The Stage Is Set for HEADstrong Foundation's 1st Annual Relentless Cup on April 6th

Holmes, PA - On Saturday April 6th the Saint Joseph's Hawks will meet the Hofstra Pride in a special event presented by and supporting the HEADstrong Foundation™. And while both teams are focused on securing another check in the win column this game means a lot more to both programs.

For Saint Joseph's this is a chance to showcase their program on a local stage while helping the HEADstrong Foundation face-off against blood cancer; a disease that claimed the life of Coach Taylor Wray's sister-in-law Caroline Gallagher-Cranston in 2010. For Hofstra University, this is a chance to pay homage to former lacrosse player and HEADstrong Founder Nicholas "HEAD" Colleluori on his beloved Phil Marion Field at Ridley High School in Folsom, PA.

Both teams will be competing for the Relentless Cup, a three tiered custom trophy designed exclusively for the event. HEADstrong plans to start a new tradition with this event archiving the game and victor with a custom plate on the trophy.

Face-off is set for 7:00PM. Admission to the event will be $10 for adults and $5 for students at the gate.

Proceeds from The Relentless Cup will support Nick's House™, the Nicholas E. Colleluori Lymphoma Research Fund and the quality of life services offered by the HEADstrong Foundation.

Additionally, the event will include youth lacrosse games with teams competing from four states including: Clearview Youth of New Jersey, Huntingtown Youth of Maryland, Ridley Youth of Pennsylvania and Rockville Centre Youth of New York. The event will also feature high school games with Ridley High School Boys and Girls teams taking on Avon Grove High School.

"We are excited to begin a new tradition during the regular lacrosse season. We are truly grateful to the youth, high school and collegiate teams to are part of the inaugural Relentless Cup. Our vision was to create a positive event in the community that embraced all levels of the game playing in support of Nick's vision. We are honored to have the support of Ridley High School who has been a powerful alliance in helping us to grow Nick's vision. We are looking forward to sharing an inspirational day with all of the programs and schools involved."
Cheryl Colleluori, HEADstrong President and Nick's Mom
