Holmes, PA - One week into Lacrosse Mustache Madness™ and the competition is really heating up with over 113 registered participants already growing staches and raising funds to support the HEADstrong Foundation™. This number is expected to grow significantly as the competition heads into the month of November.
The fundraising campaign has already raised over $17,000, however LMM co-founders Ken Clausen and Rebecca Vozzo have their sites on reaching the $104,000 mark which would surpass last year's record breaking $103,000.
Players representing fundraising teams from all over the country are getting involved. Currently former 2-time Mustache Madness Crown winner Ben Kaminow is leading the pack, successfully raising over $3,000 thus far. Rebecca Vozzo and Rich Moses are whiskers away recently surpassing the $2,000 fundraising mark. And there are many more closing in on them.
Participants are fundraising and staching-off to qualify for incredible prizes including an All-Inclusive trip for (2) to Cancun, Mexico, Xbox One Gaming System, Beats by Dre™ Headphones, Go Pro™ Hero3 Helmet Cam and Apple iPad Mini, Gear from HEADstrong, Warrior and much, much more.
Beginning on Friday November 1, 2013, LMM™ will track fundraising progress and the participant who makes the largest fundraising gain from Friday November 1st through Friday November 7th will receive a $100 AMEX gift card.
It only takes a few days for most to grow a stache and no time at all to draw one on. With over 5 weeks left in the competition there is still plenty of time to get involved. Registration is open throughout the entire duration of the competition.

Lacrosse Mustache Madness encourages lacrosse programs and players to join the Stache Movement by registering then either growing or drawing on mustaches of any imaginable shape or size in support of the HEADstrong Foundation™. Players fundraise using social media outlets for engaging supporters.
There is a $15.00 registration fee which provides you access to the HEADstrong Foundation's online giving module powered by FirstGiving™. For participating you will receive a pair of limited edition HF™ crew socks, a universal fit mustache helmet clip and a free online download of the game Lacrosse Dodge from Crosse Studios. Incentives are not to be confused with the amazing prizes that participants have the chance to qualify for based on their individual fundraising.
