Team Canada Roster Announced for “Duel in Denver”

OTTAWA, Ontario – Senior Cameron Flint (Georgetown, Ontario) and sophomore Wes Berg (Coquitlam, B.C.) will join junior All-American Jeremy Noble (Orangeville, Ontario) and former Pioneers Mark Matthews and Geoff Snider on Team Canada’s roster for the “Duel in Denver” exhibition on Saturday, Sept. 8 against the US National Team at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, the Canadian Lacrosse Association (CLA) announced today.

Other players currently playing on Colorado teams included four players from the Colorado Mammoth (2012 National Lacrosse League MVP John Grant Jr., 2012 National Lacrosse League Rookie of the Year Adam Jones, Dan Coates and Jordan McBride) and three players from the Denver Outlaws (Matthews, Jordan McBride and Curtis Dixon).

Snider was the MVP of the 2006 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Championship, leading Canada to gold over the US. Four years later, the Americans avenged the loss, defeating the Canadians and claiming the gold in the 2010 FIL world championship final.
