With the Ivy League's lacrosse season in serious doubts, former Yale faceoff specialist TD Ierlan has confirmed he plans to play his fifth and final season of eligibility at Denver University. The fifth-year faceoff man broke the news to former Syracuse goaltender Evan Molloy and Redwoods LC midfielder and published author Nick Ossello on The Post Game Podcast.

"Still some things that could fall through, but really trying to go to Denver. That's the spot I want to go, finish out with some Yale guys. do it with those guys, do it for coach Shay, especially as it looks like the Ivy League isn't going to have a season," Ierlan told the Post Game Podcast. "I'm 95 percent sure, I just have to get through some formalities of transferring."

Inside Lacrosse first reported that Ierlan had entered the transfer portal due to the uncertainty surrounding the Ivy League's lacrosse season.

"Right now, I don't want to speculate on what the team or the league is doing," Ierlan told Inside Lacrosse via text on January 20. "With that being said, the manner in which the Ivy League has handled their student-athletes during the pandemic has given me no choice but to consider a back up plan."

That backup plan appears to be Denver University. Ierlan will join his former Yale teammates Jackson Morrill and Lucas Cotler, who transferred to Denver University earlier last year. If Ierlan's transfer is approved in time, the three former Bulldogs will make their Denver debut when the Pioneers face Utah on January 30.
