BALTIMORE – Once again Syracuse will participate in one of the most highly anticipated events of the college lacrosse season when it faces Duke for the second straight year at the 2012 Konica Minolta Big City Classic. The lineup for this year’s tripleheader, scheduled for Sunday, April 1 at MetLife Stadium, was announced today by Inside Lacrosse.
This year’s edition of the event gets underway at 1 p.m. with a BIG EAST matchup between Notre Dame and St. John’s. Syracuse and Duke will play at 4 p.m. followed by Johns Hopkins versus North Carolina in the nightcap (6:30 p.m.)
Tickets for the event go on sale Nov. 15. Prices are $75 for Coaches Club seats; $45 for West Midfield seats (Lower Level); $45 for the Touchdown Club (Mezzanine) seats; $25 for Lower Level reserved seats; $20 for groups of 10 or more; and $15 for groups of 100 or more. Parking will be available on game day for $20. Bus parking is $30.

Syracuse has played in every Big City Classic since its inception in 2009. The Orange faced Princeton at Giants Stadium in the inaugural event, and played the Tigers again the following year at MetLife Stadium. In the nightcap of the 2011 Big City Classic, the Orange defeated Duke, 13-11.
