Owings Mills, Md - Stevenson University will be hosting the third annual Meghan Puls Lacrosse Classic Sunday, October 20 at 10am in Mustang Stadium on the Owings Mills campus. This year's tournament features five teams, including Stevenson University, Goucher College, Virginia Wesleyan College, Franklin & Marshall College and Cabrini College. Admission is free. A suggested donation of $5 at the gate would be greatly appreciated. All donations and proceeds will benefit The Meghan C. Puls Foundation, Inc., which helps families and children through supporting organizations in the areas of health services and research, youth recreation and education.
The Meghan C Puls Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, founded in memory of Meghan C Puls, a 16 year old, three-sport athlete whose life was tragically cut short as a result of a motor vehicle accident in 2001. It is our mission to keep Meghan's spirit alive by helping families and children in need through supporting organizations in the areas of health services and research, youth recreation and education.
We have donated thousands of dollars to our selected charities: University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, Lions Camp Merrick for diabetic children, and The Seton Keough High School scholarship fund and Marillac program, which helps students with learning disabilities become successful students in high school and college.
