“I am ecstatic. I’m really, really excited,” Crotty said upon hearing the news. “Fathead is a huge company and a great brand so to be chosen as the next MLL player with a Fathead is an unbelievable honor and something that I’m very proud of. Obviously Paul, Kyle, Dino and Max are amazing players and I’m honored to be classified in the same category; I’m excited to see what the fans think.”
The first Overall Pick in the 2010 Collegiate Draft made a name for himself in the 2010 season – his first with MLL. He won the title of Cascade Rookie of the Year and led all MLL rookies in points with 11 goals and 13 assists totaling 24 points.
The New Jersey native continues to lead the Rattlers with 14 points so far this season but unfortunately no wins for the team.
Fathead LLC became an MLL licensee last year when they signed a multi-year agreement to produce MLL player and Team wall graphics. Boston Cannons’ midfielder and lacrosse sensation Paul Rabil was the inaugural MLL athlete to be commemorated as a Fathead in December of 2010.
