Prince George’s Women’s Lacrosse Association Will Host A Free Clinic

Prince George’s Women’s Lacrosse Association (PGWLA) will be holding a free lacrosse clinic on September 8th, 2012 to all residents of PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD. The clinic will be sponsored by M-NCPPC, at the Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex in LANDOVER, MD. The clinic will hold two sessions. The first session will be from 9-11 am, which is just for girls. The second session will be from 12-2 pm for boys and girls.

The clinic will have instruction of lacrosse for youth, ages 5-17. There will be a lacrosse informational session during the clinics for all adults, who are interested in learning more about the game. In addition to the lacrosse clinic, there will be free on-site health screenings for all participants and their families.

In addition to various Prince George’s County elected officials, State of Maryland Attorney General Doug Gansler and Congresswoman Donna Edwards are confirmed attendees.

Prince George’s Women’s Lacrosse Organization (PGWLA) is a 501 (c) 3 organization created to promote girl’s lacrosse in Prince George’s County, MD and bring diversity to the sport. We are dedicated to promote instruction of lacrosse, integrity and sportsmanship. We would like to give the girls of the entire Prince George’s County a chance to play the “fastest game on two feet.”
