Poillon becomes Lehigh's 11th participant named to the prestigious All-Star Game over the past five years. Ty Souders played in the game last season while David DiMaria, Dante Fantoni, Mike Noone and Ryan Snyder played in 2013. Adam Johnston, Cameron Lao-Gosney and Roman Lao-Gosney participated in 2012 while current Lehigh assistant coach Will Scudder and Jonathan Stumpf played in 2011.
Poillon is one of three Patriot Leaguers set to play in the game, joining David Dickson (Bucknell) and Pat Frazier (Loyola) who will also suit up for the South.
A three-time All-American, Poillon finished his career with a stellar 40-16 record, 7.75 goals against average and .571 save percentage. As a freshman, Poillon went 14-3 with a 6.75 GAA and .597 save percentage. He was named the Patriot League Goalie of the Year and an honorable mention All-American. Earlier this season, Poillon was ranked as the 14th best player in Division I Lacrosse by Quint Kessenich. He was also selected by the New York Lizards in the Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft.
Lehigh advanced to its fifth straight Patriot League Tournament in 2015, winning five of its last seven games including back-to-back wins over nationally-ranked Princeton and Stony Brook. Taylor and his senior class tied last year's class as the winningest in program history, advancing to four league tournaments and winning two Patriot League Championships.
