As the Denver Outlaws prepare to take on the Chesapeake Bayhawks at the Naval Academy in Annapolis on June 15th, three pediatric cancer patients from Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation have been given special pre-game field access to meet with and get autographs from the players. They and their families are then invited to watch the 6:30pm game with complimentary tickets from the Bayhawks.

The children will get exclusive autographs and photographs with MLL players, including Outlaws attacker Brendan Mundorf and Bayhawks attacker Drew Westervelt. Press is invited to join the children and families when they take the field at 5:15pm, before players begin their warm-ups.

The meet-and-greet is being put on by Mundorf Lacrosse, representing Outlaws’ Brendan Mundorf, who faced complications at birth and understands the struggles and uncertainty that families of critically ill children go through. He has recently become a representative of Believe In Tomorrow after searching for a way to give back to the community.

Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation is a national leader in hospital and retreat housing services for critically ill children and their families, and has provided housing to each of these families during their child’s cancer treatment. The foundation’s respite program offers five beach and mountain retreat properties in Maryland, Delaware, and North Carolina, where families can get away, free of charge, to renew their spirits mentally and physically during the child’s treatment. The hospital housing program provides overnight accommodations to families while their children undergo treatment at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, MD.
