The National Lacrosse League has unveiled the logo for the 2012 All-Star Game. The game will be hosted by the Buffalo Bandits at First Niagara Center on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. Eastern. The game marks the first time that the Bandits will host the All-Star Game in the 21-year history of the franchise. The game will also mark the first All-Star Game to be played at First Niagara Center, which opened in 1996.
The league also announced the coaching staffs for the All-Star Game. The Eastern All-Stars will be led by Troy Cordingley, head coach of the Toronto Rock. Buffalo Bandits head coach Darris Kilgour will be the assistant coach for the Eastern team.
Washington Stealth head coach Chris Hall will be head coach of the Western team, assisted by Edmonton Rush head coach Derek Keenan. Hall is currently on leave from the Stealth as he undergoes treatment on a cancerous tumor in his right tonsil, but expects to make a full recovery and be back behind the bench at some point during the early portion of the season.
Tickets for the All-Star Game are now on sale and can be purchased for as low as $18 per ticket. All-Star Game tickets also come as part of all Bandits full season ticket packages.
