New York Lizards Reveal New Jersey

NEW YORK - The New York Lizards unveiled their brand new, 2013 jersey, on Sports New York's The WheelHouse on Thursday evening as part of an official presentation by Eamon McAnaney to his Wheelhouse co-host Brian Custer. Lizards players Greg Gurenlian, Drew Adams, and Max Seibald joined McAnaney on-set to present the jersey.

After a week of teaser photos on Facebook and Twitter, this was the first time the entire jersey had ever been shown to the public; even Lizards players were unaware of the final design before the live presentation.

The brand new jerseys are just the start to what promises to be an exciting season for the Lizards. In December, the Lizards announced the change of their name from the Long Island Lizards to the New York Lizards. With the new name came new colors, new logos and a whole new look for the Lizards.

Fans will have an opportunity to purchase replica jersey at Lizards games or by contacting the Lizards at 516-742-1180.

The New York Lizards will kick-off their season at home on April 28th against the Boston Cannons. The game is sure to get fans excited with a new dance team, new Lizards apparel, and even a carnival to celebrate the start of the season!

Branching outside of Long Island, the Lizards will play two home games at Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island in New York City this summer, in addition to five home games at Shuart Stadium at Hofstra University. Games at Randall's Island will be on June 6 and 13, both at 7 p.m. Single game tickets as well as season and group packages for all games are now available.
