SOMERVILLE, NJ -- The North American Lacrosse League announced today that their 2012 season will begin September 15th and will run until mid-December.
“We had an extremely productive board of governors call today,” said Brett Vickers, Owner of the Jacksonville Bullies. “We accomplished things today that we should’ve accomplished months ago. One of the most important things we established was our rulebook and by-laws, which will help us greatly in the upcoming season. We’re excited about moving forward and getting on the field in 2012.”
Teams that will participate in the upcoming season are Charlotte, Hershey, Jacksonville, and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. The players who have already signed on for the upcoming season will still have their spots on their team in the fall. The league also announced another important factor for their upcoming season. They passed by-laws and their rulebook, which every team will follow when the season begins.
“Today we had our most productive meeting,” said Chris Milo, Owner of the Jacksonville Bullies. “We established our by-laws and came up with our schedule. The league is definitely headed in the right direction. We have protected our players.”
The league plans on holding a National search for the new commissioner. For more information, please contact Selina Reda at 908-674-3451 or at sreda@waterbucketmedia.com.
