GETTY IMAGES TO BE EXCLUSIVE PROVIDER OF IN-GAME PHOTOGRAPHY FOR MAJOR LEAGUE LACROSSE

BOSTON, MA - March 16, 2011- Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced Wednesday an agreement with Getty Images, the leading creator and distributor of still imagery, to become the exclusive provider of in-game photography for Major League Lacrosse beginning with the 2011 season.

"Getty Images is known for its expertise in sports photography and we are thrilled to collaborate with them for the upcoming season," said Business Operations Manager Kerry Pucillo. "MLL is looking forward to being added to their already impressive repertoire of sports clients including the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, World Cup Soccer, and Nascar."

Under terms of the exclusive agreement, Getty photographers will cover every regular season game in addition to the MLL All Star Game and MLL Championship Weekend. A collection of MLL imagery will be offered and distributed via gettyimages.com for worldwide editorial distribution and other commercial endeavors.

As part of the agreement, Getty will have edited images available online within 72 hours after each MLL event. They will retain exclusive rights to commercial use of in-game action shots.
