Major League Lacrosse Launches Mobile APP



Boston, MA – (March30, 2011) Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced today the launch of its new mobile application for smartphone users, powered by Sports Authority. The app, created by AdeptMobile, will become the latest way for fans to receive instant MLL news.

“The use of smartphones has absolutely skyrocketed in recent years and our branded mobile app will become a go-to source for fans seeking to get their MLL fix on the run,” said Major League Lacrosse Commissioner David Gross. “It will supplement our latest marketing initiatives, providing fans with scores, video and league updates, and the opportunity to tap into all things MLL on their mobile devices.”

The MLL mobile app is available for free download by Android and iPhone users, including the iPad and iTouch. It features photo galleries, the latest news and video posts, a full schedule, and game-day information including scores.

Many of AdeptMobile’s applications have been showcased by Apple on the iTunes homepage in the “What’s Hot” and “Featured” categories.
