Michigan Coach Ryan Danehy Joins 3d Lacrosse As National Director Of Training And Methodology

DENVER, COLO. (May 28, 2014) – 3d Lacrosse, the nation’s fastest-growing, premier lacrosse training, select club and events company has appointed former University of Michigan Assistant Coach Ryan Danehy as National Director of Training and Methodology. In this role, he will expand training standards creatively while also reinforcing consistency nationwide for 3d Lacrosse’s signature Box/Field Hybrid Development System.

"Ryan is one of the best young coaches in the nation who brings Division I experience in coaching, recruiting and technology to 3d Lacrosse,” said CEO Jamie Munro. “We are ecstatic about having his level of professionalism on board."

Most recently, Danehy served as Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the University of Michigan where the team recorded the most wins in the history of the program with 152 goals scored in 2014. Earlier, he worked for six years as assistant coach and offensive and recruiting coordinator at Dartmouth College from which he graduated in 2006. Prior to Dartmouth, Ryan played for the MLL’s Boston Cannons and Chicago Machine. Danehy was an All-American at Billerica High School in Billerica, Mass., where he was a four-year starter and member of the 2001 Massachusetts Division I State Championship team.
