“We went with Maverik because they are as committed as we are to growing the sport of lacrosse beyond the East coast,” said AJ Stevens, head men’s lacrosse coach at Mesa State College. “Maverik’s equipment is on the cutting-edge of technology as well as design and I believe it will give us instant credibility in our recruiting efforts. I can’t say enough for John Gagliardi and Sean Lindsay’s belief in our program.”
The Mesa State College “Mavericks” in the Fall of 2010 will be wearing custom maroon, white and black Maverik Maybach gloves and shoulder/elbow guards. The Mesa State players will also have Maverik’s “Vision” or “Juice” heads to choose from and the H2 or Wonder Boy shafts when they custom build their sticks. Maverik will be providing everything the “Mavericks” need to kick off their inaugural season.
“We are really excited about partnering with AJ and are looking forward to working with him and his coaches to get their program off to a fast start,” said John Gagliardi, President and founder of Maverik Lacrosse. “The future growth of our sport will come through the efforts of coaches like AJ and we will do everything to support him and the Mavericks in their first year of NCAA competition and in the future.”

The actual glove looks way better than the artwork. They are snake skin.

Not sure what your point is with Southwestern. If it in reference to the 1st state school statement then you are mistaken. Southwestern is a private school.
Southwestern University in Georgetown, Tx is in the middle of their first varsity season
Logo is tight. Maverik is awesome.
These gloves are sick! Logo is bad ass too.
