CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – October 15, 2014 – Boost Lacrosse, a pioneer in the field of strength and conditioning programs built specifically by and for lacrosse players, today announced that Marcus Holman has joined the Boost Lacrosse Pro Team. Holman brings his University of North Carolina (UNC), Ohio Machine (MLL) and Team USA lacrosse experience to Boost Lacrosse and its members, participating in the training, education and team building for The Boost Lacrosse Nation.

Holman has more than 18 years of experience in the game of lacrosse. As an attackman for the University of North Carolina from 2009 to 2013, Holman started in 52 of UNC's 62 games and became UNC’s all-time leading scorer. Holman was a three-time All American, 2013 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Offensive Player of the Year, and 2013 Tewaaraton Finalist. But also of great importance, Holman was a two-time Captain and also led UNC to the 2013 ACC Championship. Additionally, Holman was the 12th pick of the 2013 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) draft to the Ohio Machine, leading to his 2014 Ohio Machine Offensive MVP and 2014 MLL Goal Scoring Title (37) achievements. Holman is also a Team USA Member for the 2014 World Championships. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, he received a bachelor’s degree in Communications from UNC, and resides in Chapel Hill where his father, Brian, is an Assistant Coach with the UNC men’s lacrosse team, and his sister, Sydney, plays for the UNC’s women’s lacrosse team.
