BOSTON (April 21, 2015) - Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional lacrosse league, announced today a renewed partnership with lacrosse equipment manufacturers Cascade Lacrosse and Maverik Lacrosse for the 2015 season. The agreement marks the beginning of a four-year MLL sponsorship for both lacrosse brands as official equipment suppliers of the MLL.

"We're thrilled to have Cascade Lacrosse and Maverik Lacrosse on board for the next four years. Cascade Lacrosse has been an amazing partner since the start of the MLL," said David Gross, Commissioner of Major League Lacrosse. "Having Maverik Lacrosse commit long term after joining us last year, shows an incredible commitment on their part. We couldn't be more excited about continuing and expanding our relationship with these first-class brands."

"Cascade Lacrosse and Maverik Lacrosse are proud and excited to continue our relationship with Major League Lacrosse and the world's best lacrosse players. We have a common vision for growing the sport and providing players with high performance gear choices," said Tim Ellsworth, Global Business Director at Cascade/Maverik Lacrosse. "The access, insights and data from MLL help us deliver best-in-class products to players at all levels, all over the world."

The relationship of Cascade Lacrosse and Major League Lacrosse is one that dates back to the league's inception. With the launch of the iconic, CASCADE CPRO helmet, a helmet created in conjunction with the launch of Major League Lacrosse. The CPRO was the first helmet geared specifically toward the professional athlete. The evolution of the helmet in professional lacrosse has become an official part of the athlete "uniform". Throughout the 15 year partnership of CASCADE and MLL, the brand has introduced ground-breaking innovations, like the technologically advanced Pro7 lacrosse helmet designed for the world's elite players. As well as the CASCADE R helmet, which marks the most advanced impact management system Cascade Lacrosse has ever created.

Maverik Lacrosse will be entering its second year as an official gear partner of Major League Lacrosse. Maverik Lacrosse has supplied some of MLL's best players, like Jordan Wolf, Kyle Sweeney and Drew Adams, with some of their flagship product lines, including the MAVERIK OPTIK and TANK heads as well as the customizable MAVERIK M3 Glove.

Week 3 is a week of rematches in the MLL. The Chesapeake Bayhawks travel for the away leg of a "home and away" series with the Florida Launch. While in the "MLL Game of the Week", the Rochester Rattlers visit Long Island to avenge their Week 2 loss to the NY Lizards. Finally, the Charlotte Hounds and Boston Cannons, both fresh off Week 2 byes, collide in a battle for early season supremacy. All three MLL games are available to stream on ESPN3, as well as on a number of regional sports networks. For more information on the 2015 MLL season, please click here.
