LXM PRO 801 Player Preview

Looking ahead to game four of the LXM PRO Tour, presented by Champion, both Team STX and Maverik United will have to make a few adjustments to their line-ups. This weekend, Maverik United will likely lean heavily on crease attackman, former Salisbury All-American and Adrenaline Athlete Erik Krum, who is averaging four goals per game and second in the Tour for goals scored. Johnny Christmas, the 3 time All-American from University of Virginia who is leading Maverik United in points with 8 goals and 4 assists and former Notre Dame All-American and Adrenaline Athlete Zach Brenneman, who notched his season high of 4 goals in Chicago, will also look to continue their hot streak and lead Maverik United to their second straight victory. Rhamel Bratton, former UVA All-American and Shamel Bratton former UVA All-American honoree, will be a huge presence in the midfield for Maverik United, as they both finished with 2 goals and 1 assist in their debut for Maverik United last month in Chicago. Veteran close defenseman, Hamilton Pollard, with his season average of 5 caused turnovers per game, will be working hard to cover the stacked Team STX attack line with Adrenaline Athletes Max Ritz (4-2) and Peter Baum, former 2012 Tewaarton Winner, who is leading the Tour in assists.

As always, Maverik United will have their hands full covering the extremely talented STX midfield line featuring Kyle Harrison, three time All-American at Johns Hopkins, who has been able to convert all over the field this season  with 3 goals and 4 assists, Sam Bradman who is leading the Tour in overall points with 12 goals and 1 assist and Adrenaline Athlete Xander Ritz who possesses an innate ability to find the back of the net. Matt Drenan, former Blue Jay at Johns Hopkins and San Diego native who grew up playing in the Adrenaline system, will play a crucial role in shutting down the Maverik United attack. Team STX has recently acquired Geoff Worley from Maverik United to add more depth to their offense. “I am excited to earn playing time on such a talented roster. I have gotten to know some of these guys pretty well over the last year, so it’ll be a lot of fun to see what our chemistry is like on the field in matching jerseys,” says Worley.

The fall season opener will mark the debut of the new uniforms designed in collaboration by Adrenaline and Champion. LXM PRO 801 is an event you do not want to miss!
