Laxurday Opening Weekend Party at Mason Inn, DC
Share
For the second year in a row, Mason Inn is collaborating with Lacrosseplaygound.com to establish/retain the title of the first true lax bar in DC this spring. There is a need for a place where all those who love the sport of lacrosse can converge to watch the games and also get their gloves a little dirty on a Saturday afternoon. Mason Inn will be showing every single game possible all season including Friday nights, but it will be on Saturdays when we will really let our lettuce down. After the games, we will turn up the tunes and have a little fun, so expect a day of high fives, mid-calves, and low blows.
Opening weekend will feature a match-up between #1 and #2 in the country when Loyola takes on the Terps. We will also have the Hopkins/Michigan game and a 3rd game to be announced. Specials include BL Pitchers starting at $8.75, $5 mimosas and others. We will also have the Gtown/Cuse Hoops game on at 4pm.
Each week our Laxurday Team will roll out different events and specials such as giveaways, flip cup tournaments, and other specials to build a little more fun around the games. We will also have a used equipment drop-off to benefit Winners Lacrosse each week for people to give back to the community and get rid of old equipment collecting dust at home.
Check back to our site or join our Laxurday FB group to see what games we will be showing each week. If you have a request, let us know and we will do what we can (we can stream games from the internet).
