For the second year in a row, Mason Inn is collaborating with Lacrosseplaygound.com to establish/retain the title of the first true lax bar in DC this spring. There is a need for a place where all those who love the sport of lacrosse can converge to watch the games and also get their gloves a little dirty on a Saturday afternoon. Mason Inn will be showing every single game possible all season including Friday nights, but it will be on Saturdays when we will really let our lettuce down. After the games, we will turn up the tunes and have a little fun, so expect a day of high fives, mid-calves, and low blows.
Week 2 will feature 2 games on Friday Night: Hopkins vs. Princeton at 5pm and 'Cuse vs. UVA at 6pm. On Saturday, we will be showing Loyola vs. Bellarmine at 1pm and Cornell vs. Colgate at 3pm. We also can show Bucknell vs. Navy, Harvard vs. Hofstra, Brown vs. UMass, Lehigh vs. VMI, and a few others. If there is a game you want, please let us know. We will also have hockey, hoops and possibly some spring training games on as well. Email hunter@georgeofdc.com to request a game.
Each week our Laxurday Team will roll out different events and specials such as giveaways, flip cup tournaments, and other specials to build a little more fun around the games. We will also have a used equipment drop-off to benefit Winners Lacrosse each week for people to give back to the community and get rid of old equipment collecting dust at home.
