King of Prussia, PA – March 14, 2012 – Lacrosse Evolution (www.laxevo.com) today announced the dates (July 21st and 22nd) for its 10th Annual Evolution Games and National All Star Lacrosse Championships and new low team registration fees (youth -- $1,250 and high school -- $1,500).
“Last year we had over 90 teams from across the country compete at our event,” said Tom Slate, Lacrosse Evolution's founder. “We are lowering our entrance fees so that more teams can come and enjoy what we feel is the best event on the summer lacrosse schedule.”
In 2011, over 30 Division I, II and III college coaches attended the Evolution Games and over 90 elite High Schools, youth and Summer club teams from across the country (New Jersey, Maryland, Arizona, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, California, Delaware and Connecticut) went all out with the hope of impressing one of the coaches in attendance.
"It is amazing to hear the stories of player who have been noticed and landed scholarships as a result of our event," said Slate. "It has always been our goal to give elite players the stage to showcase their talent, get noticed by a college coach and hopefully create an event players will look forward to coming back to each year.”
The National All Star Lacrosse Championships and Evolution Games are the direct result of work put in by several people including Lacrosse Evolutions founder Tom Slate, MLL Denver Outlaws player and current LXMPro Ryan Cranston and C.S.C.S. certified strength and conditioning specialist Dave Donovan.
