Israel Lacrosse partners with True Sports Physical Therapy

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL — The Israel Lacrosse Association has announced a partnership with Baltimore-based True Sports Physical Therapy ahead of the upcoming Federation of International Lacrosse World Lacrosse Championships. Under the partnership, Yoni Rosenblatt, PT, DPT, OCS will join the Israel men’s national team training staff in Denver, Colorado, next month.

Rosenblatt, who has worked with nationally ranked boys and girls high school lacrosse teams, current Division I, II and III athletes, as well as World Championship competitors and winners, earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008 from University of Maryland, School of Medicine to add to his BS in Kinesiological Sciences.

“Yoni Rosenblatt’s expertise in sports medicine and rehabilitation, coupled with his strong manual therapy experience, and personal connection to Israel makes him an excellent fit for us,” said Israel head coach Bill Beroza. “Dr. Rosenblatt and the therapists at True Sports Physical Therapy have proven to be at the forefront of sports rehabilitation and their knowledge of treating the specific needs and injuries of lacrosse players, will be a big asset to our team.”

Rosenblatt’s connection to Israel was strengthened in 2001, when he completed a year of studies at Yeshiva Reishit Yerushayim in Beit Shemesh. He has made multiple trips to Israel since, and has spent significant time working, studying, and traveling the country. With his working knowledge of the Hebrew language, he will be able to communicate with the entire team and the Israel Lacrosse community at large.
