IRVINE, CA - Tribz Lacrosse will be sponsoring the first ever Tribz Lacrosse California Showcase at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine, Calif., on Aug. 3-4, 2013, club director Andreas Gaynor announced. The tournament will feature six divisions, including Boys U15, U17 and U19, and hopes to bring in college coaches from NCAA Division I through MCLA schools to get a look at SoCal high school players.
Also boasting Mens U28, U37, and Masters (37+) divisions, the Tribz Lacrosse California Showcase looks to become one of the premier Summer events in the area.
Taking advantage of the Great Park’s incredible facilities and location, the tournament will have activities for lacrosse fans of all ages. In addition to hosting a vendor village, offering hot air balloon rides, and bringing in food trucks, all in attendance will have access to a Saturday night concert in the park, as well as the Sunday Farmer’s Market. The Great Park also has a kid’s playground, as well as on-site parking and is just minutes away from multiple hotels, outdoor shopping centers, and the beach.
The TribzLacrosse California Showcase will be sponsored by Warrior, and Rudy’s Pub & Grill in Newport Beach will host a welcome party to kick off the tournament.
Teams and recruiters, including Team Panos, which recently had an impressive run at the Sand Storm Lacrosse Festival, already have begun showing interest in the event. Interested players without a team are also welcome to play as part of the Free Agent team.
