IMLCA Launches Recruiting Database

(Forestdale, Massachusetts) -- The Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) announced today the launch of its online recruiting resource. For the first time, a student-athlete now will have the ability to instantly connect with every varsity college lacrosse coach in the country.
Designed by coaches for coaches, the recruiting database enables high school lacrosse players the ability to leverage their athleticism in the ultra-competitive college admissions process.
Coaches will be able to query the student-athlete side of the recruiting resource database for a myriad of search criteria including a student's academic information, athletic achievements, club and high school coaches contact information and much more.
And now student-athletes will have the ability to upload and update academic and athletic information in real time; learn about college camps, clinics, tournaments and other events; research colleges based on a variety of relevant criteria and actually see what college coaches are looking at their athletic profile.
"This recruiting resource is a significant game changer and time saver for coaches at all levels," said Phil Buttafuoco, Executive Director of the IMLCA.
Prior to the launch of this recruiting resource, information about student-athletes was disparate and proved a time-consuming challenge for coaches to assemble and evaluate.
Typically, recruited athletes have a distinct advantage over other non-student-athletes in the college admissions process. Coaches looking for Division I and Division II scholarship athletes as well as Division III and Junior College coaches are all looking for players at every skill level.
Because this web site was built by the IMLCA for the IMLCA, it is the one and only place online where student-athletes can be assured that they can market their athleticism to every men's college lacrosse coach in the country. High school student-athletes should sign up today at www.lacrossecoaches.org.
