Three members of the Iroquois Lacrosse Program visited Arcata to host the inaugural lacrosse camp for area youth in Humboldt County, California. More than 70 children, ages 8-18, attended the two-day clinic and learned about "the fastest sport on two feet," and the history of the Native American game. Some campers came from as far as Chico or Sacramento to learn and many area Native American tribes, including Hupa, Yurok and Wiyott campers were present.
