Hofstra Men's Lacrosse and Warrior Become Business Partners

Hempstead, NY - Jack Hayes, Hofstra University Director of Athletics, Seth Tierney, Men's Head Lacrosse Coach and Mark Millon, Sports Marketing Director for Warrior/Brine Lacrosse are pleased to announce a business partnership that will outfit the Pride in Warrior equipment through the 2015 season.

"We are truly excited about our partnership with Warrior Lacrosse," Tierney states. "Not only will Warrior supply our program with outstanding equipment and uniforms, our partnership will allow us to be involved in the evaluation and beta-testing of new lines in the future. To align our program and have access to the top brand in the game is something that our team is anxiously anticipating."

The comprehensive, exclusive agreement will provide the Pride with several sets of game uniforms, warm-ups and sideline apparel, practice gear, balls, sticks and the latest in gloves, shoulder and rib pads, arm guards, goalie chest pads, equipment and travel bags, and custom Warrior training shoes and speed cleats over the life of the contract. In addition, the Hofstra team will be wearing Warrior helmets beginning in 2013. The Hofstra Lacrosse program will also serve as a testing and research center for Warrior's latest equipment.

Warrior Lacrosse will receive extensive signage opportunities at James M. Shuart Stadium, advertising in Hofstra Lacrosse publications and other printed promotional matter, camp marketing opportunities, and clinic and promotional appearances by the Pride staff.

"Hofstra presents a unique opportunity for Warrior and we have targeted the program for partnership for quite a while," Mark Millon, Director of Sports Marketing for Warrior/Brine Lacrosse said. "When you look at the combination of facilities, history, geographic location, camps, recent success on the field, and one of the top coaches in the country; it's really a great situation for us. We plan to showcase our entire line of equipment, uniforms and outerwear, base layer performance apparel, and footwear and allow the players to help develop future product as well, we really are excited."
