Mike Powell to Appear at Capital One Cup Fan Zone at the Laxperience During the NCAA® Men’s Lacrosse Championships Fans can test their skills against each other by participating in live college sports drills and other interactive experiences.
WHAT:
In support of its Capital One Cup, which rewards the best NCAA Division I men’s and women’s athletics programs, Capital One will host its Fan Zone event during Laxperience at Gillette Stadium from May 26 – May 28. Bragging rights are on the line, as fans have the opportunity to show off their athletic skills and experience the intensity of NCAA Championship action by participating in various sports games and drills including lacrosse interactive, obstacle courses and the new football receiver challenge. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to win prizes, take part in the Spray Fan and more.
Mike Powell, a former First Team All-American at Syracuse University, will be at the Capital One Cup Fan Zone on Saturday, May 26 from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Monday, May 28 from 9 AM to 1 PM. There he will discuss the Men’s Lacrosse Championships as he educates fans on lacrosse skills and showcases some of his famous trick shots. Powell led Syracuse to two national championships and holds a school record for most career points.
