Golden Goal Tournament Park Secures High School Lacrosse Championships

For Ann, NYMarch 8, 2011 – Golden Goal Tournament Park is proud to announce that the National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA) has chosen the 200+ acres park in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains to host it Inaugural High School Lacrosse Championships the weekend of June 23rd through the 25th. Teams and players representing 32 states from across the country will be going head-to-head to settle the never-ending debate over which state has the best high school lacrosse team and the most talented players. Fast rising sophomore and junior players will also have the opportunity to play before college coaches from elite lacrosse programs with their high school teams.


Golden Goal park director and operator Dale Weingarten and National High School Coaches Association Founder and Chief Executive Officer Bob Ferraro, Jr. will discuss details of the new partnership on a conference call Wednesday, March 9th at 11 a.m.. Golden Goals facilities include four finely manicured grass fields and four synthetic fields with state-of-the-art lighting for night games. Teams and coaches will also enjoy the on-site housing (36 clubhouses) and dining in the secured Olympic style Athlete's village. The needs of spectators are also taken into consideration by Golden Goal with seating for more than 1,000 spectators at its eight fields and seating for 800 fans at the parks Championship Field with on-site parking for 1,000 cars.

The National High School Coaches Association is encouraging individual players and state teams to attend the three day tournament to test themselves in what is going to be one of the finest gatherings of players and teams in 2011.
