Game Photos: 6th Annual Nick Colleluori HEADstrong Classic

The HEADstrong Foundation held the 6th Annual Nicholas Colleluori Fall Men’s Lacrosse Classic on Saturday and Sunday at Ridley High School in Folsom, PA. The two-day event is dedicated to remembering the life and legacy of HEADstrong founder Nicholas Colleluori while promoting the importance of community, family and sportsmanship within the game. We have game photos from several games this past weekend. In particular, we covered the Lehigh/Hofstra and Lehigh/ Robert Morris scrimmages.

Against Hofstra game, Lehigh played starters through three quarters, subbed in the fourth. Played well on offense, average on defense. David DiMaria, Dante Fantoni, Dan Taylor and Patrick Corbett led the way for a balanced attack. Ryan Snyder was 65-70% on face-offs.

Robert Morris game, Lehigh started freshmen and played them for the entire first quarter. Came back to their starters for the second quarter, then started subbing liberally in the second half. Matt Poillon and Ryan Snyder did not play at all in this one. Ty Souders and Dante Fantoni played very little. Lehigh ended up losing by one goal, but played just about their entire active roster throughout.

Lime Green is the signature color of the HEADstrong Foundation and was displayed on the goal netting. Robert Morris and Hofstra players wore Lime Green shoelaces and the Mountain Hawks wore Lime Green Shooting Shirts. View more game photos below.
