For those of you that missed the story, Flanagan, the reigning co-Schmeisser Award winner as the 2010 USILA Defenseman of the Year (with graduated Virginia D-man Ken Clausen), took this fall off from North Carolina to go to Uganda to help out with Fields of Growth, the non-profit group founded by current Notre Dame Director of Operations Kevin Dugan to use lacrosse to help make a difference in Uganda."
