GW Lacrosse Team’s ‘Gangnam Style’ Parody
Washington, D.C. - George Washington University Men's Lacrosse Head Coach, Joe Opron, officially announced the hiring of Assistant Coaches, J.D. Englehart and Nicholas Bryan.
Englehart is a 2010 graduate of Washington and Lee University, a perennial Top 25 NCAA Division III program. At W&L, Englehart was a four-year letter winner, team captain, founding member of the student-athlete mentor group, and one of three students appointed to serve on the university's athletics committee.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Englehart has coached various lacrosse camps in multiple states.
Opron noted, "Coach Englehart earned a reputation at W & L from his coaches as being a 'tremendous leader and a tireless worker.' Our team has no doubt that he will bring that attitude and leadership to GW, taking our defense and man -down units to new heights."
Bryan is 2012 graduate of George Washington University. Bryan, one of the most decorated midfielders in GW history, was named Offensive MVP in his senior season due in no small part to his ability to rally the team's comeback efforts in the NCLL D-II National Championship, by scoring 4 goals.
Bryan is a native of Amherst, NH. He will be working with the offense and man-up units.
"Nick is an all-around great guy that leads by example. His understanding of the offense will be paramount in bringing our strong freshman class up to speed in time for an ambitious fall schedule," Opron stated.
